Already for the fourth year ACRI (Association of Undertakings in Railway Industry) awarded annual prizes, which are a unique appreciation of undertakings operating in Czech railway industry. Their uniqueness is done especially by focusing on rail and rail transport. The prize of the fourth year was awarded under the auspices of the Minister of Transport Mr. Vít Bárta and Minister of Industry and Trade Mr. Martin Kocourek.

OLTIS Group Company sent up into a competition a professional seminar on information technology for railways, RAINWORM 2010. The seminar was held in the spring of this year for participants from Czech and foreign infrastructure managers and operators.

The seminar was acknowledged by the expert panel: within the awarding of ACRI 2010 award in the category “Event of the Year” won by OLTIS Group. To the laudatory recognition, which was expressed by the participants of the seminar, it has now also the official honor.

The ceremony took place within the international INNOTRANS trade fair in Berlin on 22 September 2010 on a joint exhibition of ACRI member companies. The awards were handed to the winners by the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Czech Republic Mr. Ivo Vykydal, Deputy Director General of Czech Railways Mr. Antonín Blažek and board chairman of ACRI Mr. Tomáš Ignačák.

The award is an honor not only for the seminar organizers, but also for all OLTIS Group workers involved in the development of top information technology for railways.
