The conference of the „Technology trends in Road Transport“ project was hosted by the OLTIS Group Company

An association „National Technology Platform for Road Transport“(TPSD) of which the OLTIS Group is a member organized the first professional conference on 27 November 2018 in the premises of our company in Olomouc. During conference the foresight study “Technology Trends in Road Transport” was presented. In total 41 participants attended this conference.

The day consisted of an extended program divided into two parts, morning and afternoon sessions. The conference was opened by Mr. Jiří Jedlička, who briefly introduced the objectives of the conference, followed by a presentation of the regional manager for the Olomouc Region who described the possibilities of support in OP PIK in the area of cooperation, research, development and innovation. During the morning session, there were 8 presentations in which the heads of the individual working groups presented the outputs of the project. In the afternoon, following a break, five presentations related to platforms and competency centers were introduced.

An interesting part of the program was the demonstration of a multifunctional vehicle for complex road diagnostics ARAN – VARS Brno and a prototype of the autonomous vehicle RoboAuto – ARTIN with its remote control from Brno. The participants of the conference had the opportunity to take a short ride and had the opportunity to test this RoboAuto in real life.

All participants expressed their satisfaction with the professional and organizational side of this event.
