Conference EURO-ŽEL 2009 Žilina

Once again, professionals from companies of the OLTIS Group holding took part in the international scientific and technical symposium EURO-ŽEL 2009, which as per tradition is held by the Žilina University in Žilina (former VŠDS). This gathering represents an excellent opportunity for professionals from academic as well as commercial spheres to meet and it contributes to the vital mutual sharing of experiences and findings. This year, the conference took place between 3rd and 4th June 2009.

The programme of the symposium included six professionally elaborated presentations, which informed on the novelties of the development progress within the OLTIS Group holding. With respect to the characteristics of the meet, the presentations may not be regarded as commercial product presentations but as introduction to practical and innovative IT solutions to problems which are, at present, bothersome for the railway sector. The structural topic included, above all, the TAF TSI norms and their implementation in ISOŘ KADR, EVAL and EMAN products. Participants from abroad, especially from Austria and Hungary, provided interesting and beneficial exchanges which served as a source of stimulus for many.

Attendance at the conference showed once again that the OLTIS Group clearly holds a prime position at the top when it comes to IT development for railways.
