Seminar for the MD616 project

On 26th and 27th May 2009 in Blansko, we hosted a seminar for the MD616 project (official name CG743-109-130), under the title "Creation of standardized information links between railway operators´ systems and the systems of railway transport operators". Since 2007, this project has been dealt with by the company OLTIS Group in co-operation with ČD-Telematika and it aims, in brief, to unify the communication platforms of information systems of railway operators, to open them under the given conditions and thus enable access to them for transport providers and third entities, and to ensure the particular steps necessary for implementation of the TAF TSI European norms.

The seminar was attended by approximately 40 representatives of solution companies of the OLTIS Group holding as well as from ČD Telematika, delegates from users´ organizations, such as ČD and SŽDC, and also by a number of participants from Slovakia, especially from the daughter company OLTIS Slovakia, and from the Slovakian Railway organisations. Insightful presentations and, above all, follow-up lively informal discussions relating to the individually presented issues brought vivid and undisputed evidence of the fact that we managed to bring together the most significant capacities in the field of solutions and users, who define the trends of development of information systems for railways and have a lot to say on this topic.
