The Logistics College

Vysoká škola logistiky o.p.s (College of logistics) is a technical college of non-university status offering - as the only one in the Czech Republic - two first stages of tertiary education (Bc., Ing.) within the Logistics study programme. The fundamental objective of this study programme is to prepare professionals for particular careers in logistics of transport, services, tourism and information management.

The Vocational High School and Secondary Vocational School of Gustav Habrman in Česká Třebová is one of the secondary schools which is, at the same time, classified as a vocational high school in the Pardubice region, offering professional education for future practical use or preparing pupils and students for further study at vocational high schools, colleges or universities. The school offers secondary study with following specializations: electro-technical, transport - operation and economics, and computer science in economics.

Championship of the Czech Republic in road cycling by railwaymen

Sports club SK CYKLOTOUR ÚSTÍ NAD LABEM prepared for the participants three types of cycling competitions:
- Friday 26th June 2009 - uphill time trial for 4 km
- Saturday 27th June 2009 - individual competition for 70 km
- Sunday 28th June 2009 - individual time trial for 16 km

Last journey of the „Tree-frog train"

OLTIS Group provided financial support for an extraordinary journey of the unique fast train on the Olomouc to Brno route, driven on 5th June by a steam engine 464.202 called the "Tree-frog". This promotional journey was organized for railway enthusiasts by the foundation "Winged wheel", which prides itself in maintaining unique historical railcars.

43rd year of the Czech Republic championship of teams in swimming with fins, which took place on the 17 - 18 April 2010 in Olomouc.
